Lakkapidatalu - A Set of miniature traditional Indian older cooking aids made of wood.
This centuries old art form involves using vegetable based natural colors mixed with Indian lacquer ( Lakka ) on toys made of ankudu wood. Natural colors are derived from pomegranate, turmeric, indigo leaves and others. Finally these are polished with mogali reku (kewda leaf). These natural dyes and process make it safe for kids to play with.
