Details
Raju Rani, the king and queen on horseback from the children's rhymes, made as bobble toys in paper mache. Their heads bob with every touch, and the horses stand tall at 13 inches, making this one of the most striking pieces for a Golu or Bommala Koluvu.
This style of toy is made in both the Kondapalli tradition of Andhra Pradesh and the Thanjavur tradition of Tamil Nadu. Display the pair for Navaratri, Sankranti or year-round as a centrepiece on a console or shelf.
