Village Life

Step into the everyday rhythm of an Indian village. This collection gathers handcrafted Kondapalli and Etikoppaka dolls that capture the people and trades at the heart of rural Telugu life: the potter at the wheel, the sugarcane juice press, the tea and tender coconut sellers, the dosa and chapati cooks, the sewing lady, the spinning wheel, and the bajantrilu musicians who announce every celebration.

Each piece is shaped and hand painted by village artisans from Andhra Pradesh, using softwood and natural lacquer colors passed down through generations. Together they make a living tableau, equally at home in a Navaratri Golu or Bommala Koluvu display, on a mantel, or as a gift that carries a little of the homeland with it.
